Safety chuck is a kind of roller material holding equipment, it is usually matched with air shaft for winding and unwinding. No matter tilting safety chuck or sliding safety chuck, they are both can be cooperated with pneumatic expanding 
shaft for working. These safety chucks can be customized with different size of reel holding mouth or shape according to air shaft's end size. 

As usually, our Handong safety chuck's reel holding mouth hardness is 40-45 HRC in high frequency quenching. It is matched with air shaft in good abrasion resistance.

In this above case, flange mounted sliding safety chuck worked with 3" aluminum air shaft together, they are applied in paper roller rewinding and unwinding station. Safety chuck is connected with motor via its extend shaft, after motor 
start, then it will drive safety chuck and air shaft rotating at the same time.
